Jonathan, judiciary commended for al-Mustapha release

13 July 2013, 15:10 Lagos - Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, commended President Goodluck Jonathan and the judiciary for acquitting Hamza al-Mustapha of murder. Al-Mustapha and Lateef Sofolahan was convicted of the murder of Kudirat Abiola’s murder by a Lagos High Court last year, Premium Times reports. This decision was however overturned by the Court of Appeal on Friday. Fani-Kayode not only commended the President and judiciary for what a decision under immense pressure but also urged the government to go after the real killers of Abiola.
